What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant committing an illegal act by throwing her boyfriend's rabbit off the balcony, resulting in the rabbit's death.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 11, 2017. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before September 11, 2017. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $244.18 for compensation for use of the unit from July 5, 2017 to August 31, 2017, and an additional $4.21 per day for compensation for use of the unit from September 1, 2017 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 11, 2017, she will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
