What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $14,421 to void the order by February 28, 2023. If the Tenant does not pay, they must move out by February 28, 2023 and pay the Landlord $12,313.45, plus daily compensation of $26.30 per day starting January 18, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
