What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenant did not void by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The Tribunal granted relief from eviction and ordered the Tenant to pay the Landlord $4,175.12 for rent arrears and costs in accordance with a repayment plan. The Tenant is also required to pay new rent on time and in full until the arrears are paid off.
