What happened

Landlord applied for termination of tenancy and eviction due to non-payment of rent and willful or negligent damage to the premises. Tenants caused two floods by flushing non-disposable items and caused extensive damage throughout the unit.

The tenancy is terminated effective January 17, 2022. Tenants must pay $7,783.96 plus $34.52 per day starting January 7, 2022 for rent arrears and compensation. Additionally, Tenants must pay $27,216.04 for damages. If Tenants pay $8,601.00 by January 17, 2022, the eviction order will be voided.
