What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to their failure to pay rent in full by August 1, 2021, as required by a previous order. The Tenants admitted to breaching the previous order and stated they were unable to afford the rent going forward.

The ruling

The motion to set aside the previous eviction order is denied. The stay of the eviction order is lifted on January 4, 2022, as the Tenants have admitted they are unable to pay the rent and will be moving out by the end of December 2021.
