What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques. The Tenant did not attend the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amounts. If not voided, the Tenant must move out by November 4, 2022, and pay $4,916.99 plus $36.40 per day from October 12, 2022, until vacating. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting November 5, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
