What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant did not pay the total rent the Tenant was required to pay for the period from June 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on July 15, 2020.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,094.02 in rent arrears and $190 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 4, 2021, the Tenant will start owing simple interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
