What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid Notice of Termination, and the Tenant was in possession of the rental unit when the application was filed.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective July 16, 2021 unless the Tenant pays $2,966.47 to void the eviction order. The Tenant must pay $1,740.26 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $190 in application costs, and $30.32 per day starting July 6, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant fails to pay the full amount by July 16, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
