What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 27, 2021. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $4,260.60 in compensation for use of the unit from June 1, 2021 to September 16, 2021, plus $39.45 per day from September 17, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 27, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
