What happened

Landlords applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent that the Tenants owed. The Tenants had vacated the rental unit on January 31, 2022, prior to the hearing date.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $12,436.00, which includes rent arrears up to January 31, 2022 and the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 11, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 4.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
