What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Landlords served a valid N4 Notice, which Tenants did not void by paying arrears. Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing but did not attend.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless Tenants void the order by paying $11,186.00 by March 31, 2023, or $13,386.00 by April 3, 2023. If Tenants do not void the order, they must pay $4,222.28 plus $72.33 per day from February 28, 2023, until they move out. Tenants must vacate by April 3, 2023, if they do not void the order.
