What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $14,475.00 for rent arrears up to November 30, 2020 and the Landlord's application filing cost. The Tenants will make a series of payments to the Landlord to pay off the arrears by May 2021. If the Tenants fail to make any of the scheduled payments, the Landlord may apply to the Board to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants.
