What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing, but did not pay the full rent for the period from June 1, 2022, to October 31, 2022.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $766, which includes $565 in rent arrears and $201 in application filing costs. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by December 4, 2022, they will start owing interest at 4% annually on the outstanding balance.
