What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying the specified amounts by the given deadlines. If the Tenants do not void the order, they must move out by January 31, 2023, and pay $3,028.35 plus $55.03 per day from October 26, 2022, until they move out. The Landlord can file for eviction enforcement starting February 1, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
