What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $2,614.18 to void the order by February 18, 2023. If the Tenant does not pay, they must vacate the unit by February 18, 2023. The Landlord is entitled to daily compensation of $42.97 for the Tenant's continued occupation after January 20, 2023.
