What happened
Landlords filed L1 and L2 applications to terminate tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent, substantial interference with Landlords' rights, and persistent late payment of rent. Tenants also owed for utilities and parking.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 4, 2022. Tenants must pay $7,727.56 plus $70.36 per day starting January 25, 2022, until they vacate. Tenants can void the eviction order by paying $10,221.00 by January 31, 2022, or $12,361.00 by February 4, 2022. However, the L2 order for termination remains in effect regardless of payment.
