What happened

Landlords applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants had vacated the rental unit on January 16, 2021, prior to the hearing date.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlords $2,400 in rent arrears and $201 for the application filing fee. If the full amount is not paid by November 12, 2021, the Tenants will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
