What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation. The Landlord is currently living with her parents and wants to move into her own house.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated as of February 6, 2022. The Tenant must move out by this date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for eviction enforcement starting February 7, 2022. The eviction order expires on August 7, 2022, if not filed with the Sheriff by that date.
