What happened
Landlords applied for an order requiring the Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant did not pay the total rent they were required to pay for the period from December 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. The Tenant was still in possession of the rental unit as of the hearing date. The Tenant paid all arrears for the period ending June 30, 2022 after the application was filed. The only amount outstanding is the Landlords' cost of filing the application.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay to the Landlords $186.00 for the cost of the application. If the Tenant does not pay the Landlords the full amount owing on or before July 10, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
