What happened

Landlords applied for an order requiring the Tenants to pay the rent that they owed. The Tenants raised several maintenance issues under section 82 of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlords $6,000.00 in rent arrears, less a $300.00 abatement for the remaining maintenance issues. The Landlords are ordered to repair the remaining issues by March 23, 2017.
