What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant and substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit.

The ruling

The Tenant's T2 application was withdrawn. The Landlord's L1 application was granted, but the Tenant was granted conditional relief from eviction, subject to making monthly payments of $500 towards the rent arrears of $24,675, plus paying the lawful monthly rent of $1,050, by the 1st of each month. If the Tenant fails to make any of the required payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
