What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy of Tenant and evict Unauthorized Occupants due to unauthorized occupancy of the rental unit. The Tenant had vacated the unit pursuant to an N11 Agreement, and the Unauthorized Occupants were discovered shortly after, paying rent to the Tenant.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlords and Tenant was terminated as of April 2, 2020 pursuant to the N11 Agreement. The Unauthorized Occupants are ordered to pay the Landlords $6,433.49, which includes $6,243.49 in compensation for use of the unit from April 3, 2020 to October 30, 2020, and $190.00 for the application filing fee. The Unauthorized Occupants' request for additional legal fees was denied.
