What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 31, 2024. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $13,911.00, which includes rent arrears and application filing costs, minus the rent deposit. If the unit is not vacated by January 31, 2024, the Tenant will owe the Landlord $50.55 per day in compensation until the unit is vacated. If the full amount is not paid by January 31, 2024, the Tenant will owe interest at 7% annually on the outstanding balance.
