What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the lawful rent in full on or by the 1st day of the month, for the months of June 2021 through to May 2022. The Tenants shall also pay the application fee of $190.00 to the Landlord by May 15, 2021. If the Tenants fail to make any of these payments, the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants.
