What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for personal residential occupation. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 30, 2022. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by this date. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement with the Sheriff if the unit is not vacated by October 1, 2022. The Tenant must continue to pay monthly rent of $597.04 until vacating the unit.
