What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and for undue damage to the rental unit. The Tenant had already vacated the rental unit prior to the hearing.
The ruling
The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $6,532.25 for the reasonable costs of repairing the damage and replacing the damaged property, as well as $190 for the cost of filing the application. The Tenant is also ordered to pay $50 in costs to the Board.
