What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing despite being properly served with notice.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $2,568.00 on or before August 20, 2022. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must move out by August 20, 2022, and pay the Landlord $1,164.80 plus $19.66 per day from July 21, 2022, until they move out. The eviction can be enforced starting August 21, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
