What happened

The ruling
The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $18,069.33 for rent arrears and $2,522.86 for the reasonable costs of repairing damage to the rental unit, for a total of $20,592.19. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 25, 2021, they will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
