What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Landlord requiring possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation. The Landlord's Representative requested consent to withdraw the application as the Landlord is no longer seeking possession of the rental unit.

The ruling

The Landlord's application is withdrawn and dismissed. The Tenant is required to return the compensation paid by the Landlord by January 31, 2022, or start owing interest on the amount.
