What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to wilful or negligent damage to the rental unit, persistent late payment of rent, and the rental unit being provided as a condition of employment which has now ended.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 10, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by November 21, 2021. The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlords $1,800 for the cost of repairing the damage, $62.47 per day for compensation for use of the unit from November 11, 2021 until they move out, and $186 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by November 21, 2021, they will owe interest starting November 22, 2021.
