What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to the operation of an illegal rooming house and overcrowding in the rental units.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 30, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date and pay the Landlord $32.88 per day for use of the unit from May 20, 2021 until the Tenant moves out, as well as $201 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 30, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
