What happened

The ruling
The tenancy was terminated effective May 25, 2020 when the Tenants vacated the rental unit. The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $13,879.73 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $190 in application fees, by April 9, 2021. If the full amount is not paid by that date, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
