What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their failure to pay water, wastewater and electricity bills, which substantially interfered with the Landlords' lawful rights and interests.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 25, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlords $16,438.44, which includes rent arrears, compensation for use of the unit, and the application filing fee. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by September 25, 2021, they will owe interest on the outstanding balance starting September 26, 2021.
