What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the LTB. The Tenant had failed to pay the full $100 towards arrears and the lawful rent of $800 on or before February 1, 2023, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The Board denied the Tenant's motion to set aside the previous order, finding that it would be unfair to the Landlord to permit the tenancy to continue. The stay of the previous order was lifted immediately.
