What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict unauthorized occupants who are currently occupying the rental unit after the death of the original tenant. The Landlord also sought daily compensation for the use of the rental unit.

The ruling

The tenancy was terminated as of October 15, 2021. Unauthorized occupants were ordered to vacate the rental unit by February 11, 2023, and pay $21,039.09 to the Landlord for compensation and application costs. If not vacated by February 12, 2023, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
