What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent and substantial interference. The Tenant did not pay the full rent owed from May 2020 to September 2021. The Landlords also claimed the Tenant substantially interfered with their reasonable enjoyment.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective October 9, 2021. The Tenant must pay $14,992.97 to the Landlord, which includes rent arrears, compensation, and application fees, less the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 9, 2021, the Landlord may file the order for enforcement.
