What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation by the Landlord's parent.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2022. The Tenant must move out by that date. If the unit is not vacated by February 28, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction starting March 1, 2022. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $49.97 per day for compensation for the use of the unit until the Tenant moves out.
