What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenant did not void by paying the arrears.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay $168.58 towards arrears on the last day of the month from January 20, 2022 to May 20, 2022, and a final payment of $168.58 on or before June 30, 2022. The Tenant shall also pay the monthly rent from January 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022 on or before the first of the month. The balance owing shall become payable on the day following the date of default and shall bear interest at the post-judgment interest rate.
