What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The condition was to pay the lawful monthly rent in full on or before November 1, 2021, which the Tenants failed to do.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 23, 2022. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by this date. If not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for eviction starting January 24, 2022. The Tenants had until January 22, 2022, to file a motion to set aside the order. The eviction order expires on July 24, 2022, if not filed with the Court Enforcement Office.
