The ruling

The Landlord is ordered to pay the Tenant $84.18 as a rent abatement for the breach of s.20 of the Residential Tenancies Act, and $45.00 for the cost of filing the application, for a total of $129.18 to be paid by April 15, 2021. If the Landlord does not pay by the due date, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
