What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants did not attend the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 6, 2022. The Tenants must move out by that date. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owing by February 6, 2022, they will start to owe simple interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by February 6, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
