What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant was not present at the hearing despite being properly served notice.

The ruling

The order is limited to the Tenant paying the Landlord $31.00 for the balance of the cost for filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 16, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 3.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
