What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. However, Tenant paid all arrears for the period ending January 31, 2022, after the application was filed. The only outstanding amount was the Landlord's cost of filing the application.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay $112.53 to the Landlord for the cost of filing the application. No eviction order was issued as the Tenant paid all rent arrears after the application was filed. If the Tenant does not pay the ordered amount by February 1, 2022, interest will start accruing at 2.00% annually from February 2, 2022.
