What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The N4 Notice of Termination given by the Landlord was found to be invalid, so the Landlord opted to proceed for arrears only.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $30,400.00 in rent arrears and $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by March 21, 2021, they will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
