What happened
The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Board initially issued an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the tenant. However, before the eviction order became enforceable, the tenant paid the landlord the amount required to void the order under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006.
The ruling
The motion to void the initial eviction order TNL-28889-20 is granted. The order is void and cannot be enforced by the landlord.
