What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and persistent late payment of rent. The parties reached an agreement during mediation.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 2, 2023. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $8,929.50, which includes rent arrears and application filing fees. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 2, 2023, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
