What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Tenant or an occupant of the rental unit causing a fire that seriously impaired the safety of others, and the Tenant willfully damaging the rental unit by breaking a window to regain entry after being ordered not to enter.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 22, 2024. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee.
