What happened

Tenants Megan Mackrory and Jeremiah Sammy applied for an order determining that Landlord Meeok (Sophia) Lee altered the locking system on a door giving entry to the rental unit or residential complex without giving them replacement keys and substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex.

The ruling

The Tenant's application is dismissed as Megan Mackrory is found to be an occupant, not a tenant under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006. The Board does not have jurisdiction to hear this application.
