What happened
The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenants due to failure to pay rent. The landlord also claimed NSF cheque charges and related administration charges. The tenants filed a motion to void the eviction order after paying the amount required to void the order.
The ruling
The tenants were ordered to pay $555.00 into the Board in trust by March 22, 2019. If the payment was made, the tenants' motion to void the eviction order would be granted and the amount paid would be paid out to the landlord. If the payment was not made, the tenants' motion to void would be denied and the stay of the eviction order would be lifted.
