What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to substantial interference, illegal acts, and safety concerns. The Landlord alleged the Tenant has accumulated excess materials in the rental unit causing a fire hazard and has failed to permit the Landlord to re-inspect the rental unit.

The ruling

The hearing was adjourned to a future date. The Tenant was ordered to get tested for COVID-19 and provide the results to the Landlord and the Board before the next hearing. The Tenant was also ordered to assemble and provide any evidence to support her case at least 48 hours before the next hearing. The next hearing was set to be peremptory on the Tenant.
